Anniversaries are hard, especially the first ones. Its been one year since we lost my dad and Im still not believing its real. On any given day, i still run into so many thoughts that I want to tell him ... so many Oh, I have to tell Dad this! moments. Last year, when I realized that my dads death would forever coincide with Fathers Day weekend, I thought this would be an extra twist of pain. But, I have to say, seeing so many friends on FB celebrating their own dads and honoring their presence (even for those who are no longer with us) actually helps me know that I was in great company to have such an incredible man to call Dad. Im very grateful to all of the amazing people in my life (and his life) who were there for us all last summer -- especially Patrick Enck, Blake Aaron McDaniel, Anne McMaster Davidson (really, the entire McMaster/Davidson family), Pam and Don Fleck, Carolyn Maa, John Kimmett, Christopher L Hayes, Tess Carrel, Lisa Moyer, Leann Moyer, Yolanda Williams, Paula Oman, Jennifer Dysinger, Susan Kauffman, John F.
