Announcing additions to advisory board Truechip Solutions is pleased to announce that 2 EDA industry leaders, Tim K Smith and Rahul Razdan, have joined the Truechip Advisory. Tim K Smith (Chairman, Advisory Board) – Mr. Tim K Smith has over 20 years high-tech experience in Executive, Sales, Marketing and Engineering positions. He was Major Accounts Sales VP at Cadence Design Systems leading a $300M sales, service and support organization. As CEO, he led Accelicon Technologies from founding through its acquisition by Agilent Technologies in 2012. Mr. Smith currently serves on the Board of Directors at Accelicon Technologies, Avahai and Topanga Systems, and is Chairman of the Advisory Board at Truechip Solutions. Mr. Smith has a BS EECS from the University of California, Berkeley Rahul Razdan (Chief Strategy Advisor) – Rahul has over 20 years executive management experience in a variety of roles, R&D, and marketing. Most recently, he has been involved with two successful technology startup exits at PwrLite (Board Member) and WiPower (CEO).Previously, he worked at Cadence Design Systems where he served as Corporate VP of Functional Verification Business Unit, growing the division to over $250 million a year in sales. While at Cadence, he also served as Consultant to the CEO and BOD on Mergers and Acquisitions and Strategic Partnerships. Rahul’s electronic design background includes key contributions to the design and development of the Alpha CPU while at Digital Equipment Corporation. He has authored numerous technical papers and is named on 24 issued patents. Mr. Razdan holds in Ph.D. in Computer Science from Harvard University and MS/BS in Computer Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University.
