Anonymous MOM messaged us: So my 5 yr old has a brain injury from lack of oxygen and is delayed, trach, gtube etc... So, she has had some very odd behavior that I have thought are seizures. Weird expressions where she looks out of it while holding her ears then crying afterwards. and sometimes she will drop to the ground while doing it. Also, every single nap and bedtime she goes to sleep for approx. 5 min and wakes with her legs stiffened, tongue hanging out, and hands on her ears then she cries. We had an EEG and I tagged several episodes. Neuro says no seizures. HUH??? Im so confused - anyone else experienced anything like this? If they arent seizures then what the heck are they??? Frustrated!
