Anonymous asks I have an 11 week old baby girl. Before going back to work I would never put my little girl down. Now that Im back to work, I only put her down if I know she is content. We also co-sleep. Now that Im back to work, family members are not able to put her down while watching her. If she is put down, she cries and Im against letting her cry it out. I believe that if shes crying she needs comfort and needs to be held. So, Ive asked family not to just let her cry, to comfort her and hold her. My family now gets a lot of advice from their friends saying that they need to put her down and let her cry. Which Im tired of hearing. My question is...Have other parents come across not being able put their baby down without crying, and if so, when did they finally grow out of it. Please no negative comments. Im a FTM and I cherish holding my baby and wont be putting her down until shes ok with being put down without crying. So please dont tell me I need to put my baby down and let her cry. I put her down when shes content and pick her up when she cries. My family on the other hand cant put her down at all. Thank you in advance for your comments 😊
