People of the 918: I ran a few errands this morning after I got off work, still wearing my Autumn Wood t-shirt and badge. FIVE people made a comment along the lines of, you guys sure arent doing well, huh?! I cant believe youre still open! Let me make something very clear... Autumn Wood and Wood Manor are two completely different facilities. Now, Im not here to judge, accuse, or talk bad about WM; I just want my Facebook friends to know that the facility I work for is top notch. It is a small building, with a total capacity of 60 residents. (Each resident gets their own bedroom AND full bathroom). If my parents were alive and needed to be in long-term care, I would 100% have them live at Autumn Wood. So please, if you have any family members in LTC with Dementia/Alzheimers, and have turned a blind eye to AW, because of its name; I implore you to check it out. You wont be disappointed. From the AW Facebook page: CONGRATS to ALL of our staff for helping us achieve a CMS 5/5 star rating! This is a HUGE accomplishment we are the only 5 star rated facility in the local area and one of just a handful in the entire state! Way to go Autumn Wood staff!
