Just wondering if many of you get scammed by people that say they will buy something from you and appear to be sincere and honest and then when pickup day comes, guess what?? They dont come, Excuses, lies, etc. For things that cost a bit of money I ask for 50% down if they are not picking up right away. But I was told that they had to work extra late, blah blah blah and my mistake that I believed her and gave her the benefit of the doubt. Called to confirm pickup and time and she still said everything was fine. Then 30 minutes before, she sends text and says she cant make it. Why? Work! If I had 50% down! she would find time to come get it. Could she come after work?? She never answered me! Enough said. Scammer. Lesson learned. Guess I will be tougher from now on! Its really sad that we have dishonest people on here that take advantage of honest people. I think they should be banned from the group.
