Another Amazing Review...Thank you!! 4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2013 NEW Here are a number of reasons why you SHOULD absolutely consider this location: 1) This old home has been renovated and updated and turned into an incredibly lovely, beautifully fitted and furnished beach guesthouse. 2) The laid back, relaxing and welcoming ambience of this b/b envelopes you before you even step into your room. 3) The attention to detail is astounding, the inside, outside, common areas, bedrooms, gardens, front, back…all are immaculate. 4) Spotlessly and scrupulously clean! Once again…not just the bedrooms, but the entire place is well maintained and shining. 5) Little extras that really make this place stand out – cookies and muffins put out beside the all day help yourself coffee bar, wine and beer along with savory munchies come out in the early evening, a topped-up fruit bowl for afternoon snack, iced tea and lemonade on ice, soda cans and fruit juice in the bar fridge…all help yourself. 6) Best for last – the hosts: Karen and Frank. I have never encountered such gracious, helpful and friendly proprietors! Karen is so gregarious and will do anything to be of service, Frank is quieter and more businesslike, and yet, nothing is too much to ask either of them. Really makes this location stand out as a gem! Here are only 2 items to know though before visiting: 1) While beach access is only steps away, this site is not ocean view. There is an angle on the fabulous deck which does allow a glimpse of the beach and ocean, but the rest does overlook homes, yards and streets. 2) The atmosphere is lively! This means if you are looking for private and quiet, lots of sleep and a solitary retreat, then “Beachview B/B” is not for you. In summary: Now knowing points 1 and 2 above, I would return in a heartbeat, and if I could afford it, knowing all the other items I listed in 1-6 above, would stay a lot longer! PS: The photographs on TripAdvisor do not do this place justice! Room Tip: "Presidential Suite" is gorgeous, but not in a private or quiet
