Another Civil Rights Movement is upon us If we had half the conviction of (black) men in 1966 then our protests could actually mean something. Its a shame but it seems like we have to come up with catch phrases like I cant breathe or hands up dont shoot! Rather than focusing on the issues themself. And dont get me wrong these catchphrases signify the struggle I just dont want to see them used lightly. These riots the violence, it undrrmines the lives lost in this struggle, Im afraid that this will be national news one day and a vague memory the next. When the Montgomery Bus Boycott began this endeavor took over a year to dismantle one portion of the discrimination and disdain buried in our countrys roots yet we as a people could stand together and stay strong to make a difference. To them that wasnt the thing to do or talk about it was the mission. So again I said it before Ill say it again learn what you can and cant do against these cops. Do not let them take away or impede upon the rights granted to us as Americans. This was designed to be the greatest most diverse country in the world. We need to do our due diligence to make it so.
