Another LEGEND passes. R.I.P. Weldon Myrick, American steel guitarist born in Jayton, Texas. Inducted into the Texas Steel Guitar Hall of Fame in 1991. Weldon was one of the greatest steel players of all time, who played with Ernest Tubb, Johnny Bush, Merle Haggard, Loretta Lynn, Elvis Presley, Connie Smith, Alan Jackson, George Strait, Reba McEntire, Charley Pride, Brenda Lee, Johnny Cash, Marty Stuart, Roy Clark, Ferlin Husky, Trisha Yearwood, Chet Atkins, Ronnie Milsap, George Jones, Jimmy Dean, Keith Whitley, Willie Nelson, Gene Watson, Kris Kristofferson, Jerry Jeff Walker, Johnny Paycheck, Linda Ronstadt, David Allan Coe, Jessi Colter, The Oak Ridge Boys, Hank Williams Jr., Jim & Jesse, Donna Fargo, Steve Young, Gary Stewart, Ian & Sylvia, Johnny Duncan, Norma Jean, Vern Gosdin, Tom T.
