Another Manatee for Blackbeard! Blackbeard was at the dock today when he spied another Manatee. This time the poor guy was caught and tangled up on a line from someone’s crab trap. Blackbeard quickly ran over and untied the line, freeing the Manatee. With that, the Manatee ducked down into the water for a moment before coming back up to say Thank you to Blackbeard by rolling over and putting on a show for him. No pictures this time, Blackbeard didn’t want to run for the camera before helping the panicked Manatee. We think Blackbeard is starting to become the Hero of the Manatees!!!
