Another exciting days competition here at Incheons Asian Games. The cross country course had looked very different to what we are used to. With a good few slaloms and turn backs with fences placed in awkward positions to slow riders the time looked like it was going to be very tight. As you can see from the results below, most teams made light work of it and Bertie once again was brilliant. Last run at Somerford he was so strong I had to circle twice to get control back so I bitted him up as I knew I couldnt afford to take too many pulls on the way round. He flew around making the questions and time feel like a piece of cake! Unfortunately everyone else who mattered also made the time so still lying 2nd! The team is a slightly different matter. Our first rider Li Jingmin did a super job coming home clear but with a few time penalties. Luang Ruiji also rode a super round to come home easily in the time. But... Our 3rd rider had an oopsy on course and jumped fence 7 twice.... (You go past it again on the way home on a different loop) and so eliminated himself and dropping us out of medal position going into tomorrow. Fourth... Behind Hong Kong 5oclock bus again tomorrow for 8am trot up. Jumping starts at 1pm! Thank you very much to Tzuhsien Yang for the photos and to HorseMove Thailand for earliers video!
