Hi Friends... If you volunteered to make something to include in Blake raffle to raise money for Helping Hearts For Sophia and her family, the raffle date has changed to September 6th at 4:00 pm due to family illness. Raquel Lawson donated a few handmade baby blankets to raffle off and has also scheduled an Jamberry Nail Fundraising event for Sophia at my home the same day as the raffle. (Jamberry nails are heat and pressure activated vinyl wraps are the latest nail trend thats sweeping the nation.) So please accept my invitation to this event and feel free to order online if you cannot make it to the party. This morning we met with Sophia and her parents for breakfast because Blake had a very special gift for Sophia that he wanted to hand deliver. Sophia has stolen our hearts and we know that if you met her youd fall in love with her too! In May 2013 Sophia was diagnosed with Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma (ERMS) a rare histological form of cancer and Sophia started chemotherapy treatment immediately following the diagnosis. Because the family struggles financially due to Sophias mom losing her job shortly after Sophias cancer diagnosis, Blake created the “Pray for the Princess” Locket and the “Love Life and Enjoy The Flowers” Locket to try to help raise money for them. Sophia LOVED her “Pray For Your Princess” Locket and we invite you to buy one for your Little Princess to help this family. All proceeds from sales go to Sophia and her family! Blake is also selling raffle tickets for his “Love Life and Enjoy The Flowers” Locket and other items donated for $1 each.
