Christians, because they know themselves to be wise and faithful stewards, are to be ever vigilant, ready and found doing the work entrust to them, no matter what time of the day the Master happens to return. This is especially true if those who have some responsibility in the Church. They do not act arbitrarily abusing the power share with them by Christ. Rather, exercising the power given to tthem in a spirit of service, they patiently await the arrival of the Master.
