Another fantastic performance by Andy Dyson saw him win the latest Saturday open match held on Big Beam. On a slightly slower day than of late Andy did well to weigh in with a fantastic 61lb 14oz of quality carp, chubb, skimmers, tench, crucians and roach from peg 23. Every fish in the net was caught on meat laid shallow on the on the slope on the far bank for the carp and chubb and everything else caught from the near margins. In second place fishing peg 19 was Malc Swindels fishing peg 17 with 38lb 4oz. Malc caught carp, tench and skimmers mainly at 6metres infront using the soft pellet over hemp and micros. In third place fishing peg 7 was Paul Gibson. Paul weighed in with 31lb 11oz of quality carp caught against the far bank again on the meat. Our next open match will be held this coming Thursday and will be held on Sandy pool. See you there !!!
