Another fantastic show, Andy Gilbert managed to pull a few rabbits out of his hat this evening, as one more two acts were unable to perform. Andy, being he professional and modest guy that he is, worked hard to secure a great lineup of artists who wowed us all with their professionalism and dedication to making tonights show yet another which will be classed among OWLS greatest evenings. The lineup for the evening was: The Anderson, who stepped in at the eleventh hour and gave a great performance of songs and music from a forgotten era, which left the crowd asking for more. Paul Rushton, a very talented guitarist and singer, known also to be part of 2 duos; The Slipper Men AND Fuego Nights sang to and wowed the crowd with songs in Hindu, That and Spanish. Not only did he perform for OWC - he was also the sound technician for the evening and part of the pre show set up team :-) Marique & Middle Eastern Belly Dancers certainly added an exotic and beautiful performance in various styles, all performed by an array of stunningly talented ladies. Sadly, Ayo was not able to join he show this evening, he was very much missed by all who know and enjoy his performances. We hope youre well Ayo and look forward to seeing you soon. Don Pedrero - Classical Guitarist, had the audience spell bound with his passionate rendition of some of the worlds greatest classical pieces and one or two not so well known, all expertly performed to an audience wanting more. Debbie Murray & Outfield, gave a party feeling to the evening with a vibrant, from the heart performance that had everyone up and dancing AND begging for more after numerous songs. Im sure Outfield could have played and partied with everyone until the early hours of the morning, had this not been a Monday night. Not forgetting our compare, Lyne Norman, who did a great job of introducing all the acts and helping this show be another Great Monday evening to remember. A MEGA, MEGA thank you to all the brilliant performers, who made Monday night an evening to look back on with some fantastic memories of performers who were able to show just what OWC is all about. . . . . In case Ive forgotten to mention or thank anyone for this evenings show, please forgive me, as its very late, but I just felt the need to share the evenings events with you all. For all those regulars who werent able to make it to Mondays show, photos will follow in a few days. Finally, the next show is on Monday, 7th July - same place, same time: Cruck Barn Bradwell Abbey Milton Keynes Doors open at 6:30pm - show starts 7:30pm Very much look forward to seeing you all there
