Another feedback question for those who do mainstream and alternative work. Do you hesitate to blend the two worlds, wondering if people will find you less credible or woo woo if you do? For example, I am a licensed Social Worker and also a Reiki Master. Although I dont do hands on Reiki with therapy clients, some of them are aware that I have that training. I also have highly honed intuitive skills, which is part and parcel of being a counselor for more than three decades, but dont refer to myself as a psychic. I can tap into what might be considered spiritual realms, have received messages and have heard what I call The Voice that offers loving guidance and direction. Having worked on inpatient units, I do know the difference between them and psychosis. More often, my writing feels channeled, which is a cosmic foo foo buzz word for some. If anything, it seems like if gives me more tools to work with and makes me more credible. What are your thoughts?
