Another great Cabellsville research find today. This plat depicts the 1,400 + acres (including the old court house) devised by Samuel J. Cabell to his son in 1827. It is located in the Library of Virginias digital chancery cases for Nelson County in an action against the estate of Willis H. Wills in 1877 (#1877-25). The village is located somewhere near the middle of the plat on the road leading from New Glasgow by Cabellsville to Lovingston.
