Another happy day. I know you dont get bored with hearing it, but it feels kinda boring to me myself to start just about every post like that. Of course I dont get bored by having these days. I actually dont have much to tell about my day. I napped a lot on the cat tree again. I used the 1st level, the 4th one and the top level. Of course I snuggled with the human too, but not very much. The past few days Dushi mostly snuggled with the human during day time and I after breakfast and at night. I played again too today. The friend that came over to bring materrial for Jinxs apartment was here then and the human told and showed her how fond I am of the elastic string. The friend liked it. I let her pet me too and even gave her a couple of sandpaper kisses! Dushi went to work as usual. Jinx was here then, but he left right away. The human then played with Dushi a bit in the backyard and while they were still playing, Jinx came back already. When Dushi saw him, she growled at him again, but didnt chase after him. The growling did scare Jinx a bit, but instead of fleeing back out of the backyard again, he fled into his apartment. He obviously really feels safe in there. When the human let Dushi back in a couple of hours later, he was enjoying the sun on the garden table, and Dushi just let him be. Nowadays Jinx only comes into the kitchen when the human is there too. He then begs for wet food, but he only gets that for breakfast and right before the human goes to bed. Y+The rest of the time he has kibbles. The material the friend brought was vinyl, to protect Jinxs chest, cushion and blanket from rising damp from the ground and walls. After the friend left again, the human started working on the apartment right away. After she placed the vinyl where she wanted it, she added some moussies too. Jinx probably couldnt care less about the moussies, but the human herself likes it. She also cut up a garbage bag and put it above the door of the shed. That door is always ajar now (not open as wide as in the pic) and even though the chest is in the back of the shed and wont get wet the human wanted to do something to prevent rain from just falling into the shed. Now the human says all Jinxs apartment needs is some extra isolation for when it gets cold outside. Theres still time for that, cause its not that cold yet and the human is already busy getting what she needs to finish Jinxs apartment. Jinx is a darn lucky cat to have found a human who does all this for him. But I think he knows and he is thankful. So nothing spectacular happened today, but it was a good day anyway. The human has been quite busy last week, but she has no plans at all (yet) for the weekend and thats good. Good for her, but for me, Dushi and Jinx too. I feel a good weekend coming up.
