Another impressive win tonight for the Big Blue, a 27-7 homecoming romp over FAMU, which I watched from beginning to end thanks to the OVC digital networ,. The Tigers are now 4-1, will remain in the FCS Top 25 and may even move up depending on what else happens over the weekend. Other than one march at the start of the third quarter and a few anxious moments in the second half, TSUs defense continued to show why its among the best in the nation. Another defensive touchdown scored, plenty of pressure all night on FAMUs QB, and a good enough performance from the offense to get the job done. Still not thoroughly confident that the offense can do what it needs to do against better competition, but am certainly convinced their defense can compete with anyone remaining on the schedule.
