Another kick in the teeth for Surrey firefighters... Story sent to us at STUKFS.... A female station officer in Surrey who has already been caught using her blue lights illegally to get round bad traffic so that she could man a strike pump on time (and got off scott free despite breaking the law) has gone and done it again! Despite being affected more than most with the pension changes (missing out on the cut off date by literally a couple of days) she has been riding the strike pumps in charge. To make things worse, she has recently been off sick with a broken wrist, however she has made a miraculous recovery just before the strike dates so that she could ride the pumps in charge and collect the overtime! Despite having her wrist still bandaged up!!! The hypocrisy beggars belief!!! STUKFS The truth is out there.
