Another member of our Arts community gone too soon ... unable or unwilling to wrestle the demons anymore. These losses hurt. We lose part of our artistic family with each of these deaths. I hope those of us called to educate the next generations of artists will reflect on these moments and put our heads together to figure out how to better instruct our students (and ourselves) in how to take care and take stock - physically and mentally and how to create supportive communities and networks.
