Another questionable performance and another dissapointing day. There were mitigating circumstances but no excuse for lack of effort. This after two good performances and results is indicative of our season so far. All the signs of a work in progress. Perspective and common sense needs to be maintained. The transfer window opens next week and Im hopeful that we will see some much needed additions to our squad, if only to create competition and improve performance. Its football, which, as has been said, is transitional, we are in transition. We have batted above our weight for years and we needed to start again from scratch, we have to be patient and give it time. Nobody got promoted or relegated in December, lets see where we are in May and take stock then. We all want success but its not a God given right, we have to work for it, manager, players and supporters. And take the good with the bad.
