Another quick Black News from another of our #blackteam member Jordy Vonk / ned-69 just before the 6am skippers meeting at the #pwa in #Turkmenistan Ciao Jordy today it will be the second day for the event. How is the forecast? The forecast seems to be windy in the morning! It’s 5am at the moment and I just woke up for the skippers meeting at 6am. Let’s hope we didn’t wake up for nothing. How is the forecast looking for the next days? It doesn’t look that well, we’ll only get some winds in the mornings, so I’m actually afraid that we need to wake up early every day! Do you think will be different to sail in the 12 men heat instead of 8? What do you expect to be the most difference? Well, I kind of understand as the forecast isn’t that great and they want to push it for some results. I think it’s good to try something new, if we will like it? We know in a few days! I think it’s gonna be pretty damn busy at the start and marks. What are you having for dinner, and till now the favourite food tasted? Rice, rice, rice and some stomach twisting meat. Might consider to pay a little bit for the nice buffet in the hotel itself instead of the workers food. For sure no favourite food yet. The president of Turkmenistan looked very friendly in the photos. How was his visit? It was really strict and a big happening. You find the president on pictures everywhere!! It’s really the most powerful person which need to be respected, it was a honor that he came to visit the event. What do you think of Micah’s beard? It’s massive !! I can’t imagine that it’s comfortable, but it’s kinda cool. How are the Turkmenistan girls? Actually some are looking really good! But they can stay away, to do anything with girls is illegal. So the more pretty girls, the bigger the chance ending up in jail ! hahah
