Another reason we shouldnt be going around the world lecturing others on Human Rights. Lets clean up our own house and become, again, a beacon to the world. The current upsurge in inmate population is being driven by privatization; big companies buying state prison systems and asking legislatures to guarantee they are sufficiently used (to make themselves a profit). The system is getting out of whack and is bound to collapse. (Remember the Hopital General in France?)
