Another swimming story for you. Once again I was out with a group of teachers the other night. One inquired about my swimming because she was put up at the hotel as she was waiting for her apartment to become ready. She couldnt believe how long I stay in the water and do my laps. She asked me it I took swim lessons somewhere. Laughing. I dont know. I swam on the local community swim team between the ages of 9 and 17 and even swam AAU for a few seasons. I did a two week stint on the University of Michigan Womens Swim Team but quit because I couldnt keep up with the practice, my studies and working in the dorm kitchen. Plus I didnt want to look like the female swimmers. Vanity. I couldnt believe their shoulders. I was like, Oh my goodness people already mistake me for being a male because I am so tall. All I need are those shoulders too. My kids can tell you I am a swimmer. Our summer journeys camping all over across the United States took us to capitol cities in which I was determined to swim somewhere in each one of those cities. They had to don their swim suits too and cater to my need of a swim. Poor things. They dealt with alot as I took them around the country.
