Another “tidbit of advice” for those of you submitting applications and/or resumes. When sending your resume or application via email, please rename your documents to your full name. Not “Application for employment” or “Resume 7/2104” or “TJ’s application”. Do you have any idea how many of those come to me every time we post a job? Believe it or not, HR people are busy. We do not have time to rename your stuff for you. The hiring manager will receive your information a lot faster if the HR person doesn’t have to go back and rename all of your documents. Also, if at all possible.. please PLEASE combine your documents. Dont send in a 4 page application with each page as its own attachment. If I have 100 applications, and yours is named “Application page 1” etc…. It is really aggravating. Especially if you have stated on your resume that you are proficient with Microsoft products. Really?? And you couldn’t even combine a document?? Oh trust me, I will tell the hiring manager what a mess your stuff was in when I got it. Just sayin…..
