Anotherr senseless killing in Cape Town - The manager of The Chilli Bar in Southfield, who was shot in the face outside the bar in the early hours of last Sunday morning, has died. Foster Kadima, 30, was in a coma in Vincent Pallotti Hospital before succumbing to his injuries. He died on Thursday morning. Kadima, a father of three, was on duty at the time of the shooting. Two other customers were wounded. Police spokesman Captain FC van Wyk said the suspect had been removed from the pub by bouncers. “He then fired several shots in the direction of the pub’s door, whilst standing in Victoria Road,” Van Wyk said. Police were still looking for the man, who fled in a Mini Cooper. “On Thursday, the victim died in hospital. The case of attempted murder was changed to murder.” Kadima’s friends inundated his Facebook page with farewells and prayers for his family. The Chilli Bar was in the news twice last year after a deadly car smash on January 16 and an ATM bombing.
