Anyone cares to count how many US soldiers and their formations and barracks are hit by civilian terrorists everyday in Afghanistan and Iraq? With all. The heavy equipment and training, are American soldiers killed by untrained Islamists? YES. Is their president asked to resign? No. How about their army boss? No. Are the military men called incompetent because they were killed by Islamists? No. Do the whole of America mourn in Unison and blaming Islamists and not Obama? Yes. Does Mitt Romney and and Chris Christie make statements that seems in support of the Islamists or totally take Obama to the cleaners because of these death to American soldiers? NO. What do they do? They encourage the president and the families of the slain. Again, have there been killings in Naval bases in the US? YES. How about kindergarten and creches? Are children slaughtered? YES Really? In Almighty America with police in all streets and cameras. Etc, are children slaughtered? YES. Do they blame the president? NO. Who do they blame? The killers. How about Marathons? I heard of Boston bombing. Two Russians selfmade Islamists (though we believe it is a ring and the brothers are not working alone) killed marathoners. Did all America come together? YES. Were they caught by expensive Cameras or surveilance? NO. How were they caught? By tip from a local who saw a boy hide in a boat. Do Yobe and Bauchi people make such reports or support the killers. They support the killers or are too afraid to tell on them. Did the papers and politicians blame Obama? NO. How did the governor of Boston and the people react to the police lockdown of Boston? They supported the police and happily stayed at home. The governors of Yobe and Bauchi, how are they acting? Do they support the military action? NO. They are inimical to it even. And other politicians, Emirs etc. Do they support it? NO. It is politicized and religion a factor. Does this make it even more complicated than America? Yes of course. One Victoria and Roston are blaming GEJ and the army for not putting army in front of FGCs Are those in FGC and their lives more important than those in ekerebutete secondary commercial school? NO So? There are 65 colleges in Yobe. The army can only try their best. Asking for army posts in front of all schools is to be unaware of logistics problem and to ask that it be put only in front of schools with children of the rich is em...well... How has America reacted to endless killings in schools. Are there now police guards? NO. So no guard in Cinemas? In Colorado, they killed people in Cinemas. I went to the Cinema and saw Kevin Kostners latest movie. I did not even see one policeman or armed guard. So what r u saying? Nigerians make too many mistakes. As long as the FG is blamed for killings...as long as each death counts agst GEJ, the killings will not stop. He GEJ has offered carrot by asking Boko Haram to come for amnesty. He has wielded the stick with air and land bombardment of bases and the state of emergency. What more can he do? Is he Rambo or Commando to go in himself? Is it not the same army Nigeria sent to Liberia, Mali etc that are in Borno and Yobe? If people have no solutions to offer in a democracy... principle of which we all rule together they must shut up and let people with encouraging words and useful criticisms talk to the army and govt so we can solve this. So what solutions are you Ena Ofugara offering now? Me? Well...first me I must condole with the familes. May the God you all serve accept you into his bossom and eternal peace where man shall no longer prey on you. Then I will turn to the perpetrators and tell them no way Allah or Mohammed sent you to do this and may your scrotum be elephantiased and phallus fall off so the 72 virgins laugh at you for being impotent. Then I will tell the people of Yobe and Borno. Look at the names of the children that died. They are mostly your kids and the future of your state or region. Southerners will not come to Borno or Yobe to school. We rather put our kids in adagbrasa secondary community school than FGC Yobe with computer and automatic chalk. It is you people that are dying so take charge and do something. What can they do? Ibos of Onisha set up Bakassi boys and they extra judicially killed many ring leaders and kingpins. Oba of Benin came out and swore at kidnappers. In Delta, Ibori threw moneys at the Ijaw, Urhobo and Itsekiri warlords and Uduaghan continues to pay for the peace. On Niger Delta militancy, Ibori made sure he personally is involved in release of those kidnapped. GEJ as VP entered a canoe unarmed ALONE, got ferried to strange parts of the creeks and spoke to his people. Clarke and other leaders in the region meet and speak with the militants and convey requests and demands to the FG. OPC fights those who rob or kill in the West. What has the Northern governors done on their own like Ibori did with militancy and recovery and ransoming of the kidnapped? What has Northern leaders like Atiku, Buhari, Babangida etc done to engage them and bring their demands as Clarke and Alamieseigha have done with the militants? Yes, face the Northerners you Nigerians. Put pressure on them not on GEJ who has done all in his power awaiting success of the military operationa and hoping they accept amnesty. What can speed it up is if Arewa focuses on Boko Haram as it focuses on Aso Rock. Let them form their Bakassi boys. Let the Emirs declare Fatwa and all kinds of Islamic curses on members of Boko Haram. Let Atiku, Babangida, Abdusalaam, Buhari and all former leaders make Boko Haram and peace in the North their priority. Let them go there and hold rallies. Rallies. Must not be only about power and in Port Harcourt with Amaechi. Let Buhari call one in Yobe and speak to the youths. Let him hold the broom up there and tell them there is hope for a better life and killing is destroying the land. Atiku and all those I mentioned are former leaders and must take blame for the state and underdevelopment of the area and so must stand to be counted as helping to solve it. You do not need power to change society. Martin Luther and Mandela did without it. Let Atiku and Buhari stand up in their North and make a difference like Desmond Tutu. THEY MUST HOLD RALLIES IN YOBE and educate the youths.
