Anyone else get annoyed with happy-go-lucky, new age hippie BS??? I consider myself a bit of a hippie in the liberal and spiritual sense, but I cant stand overly positive people..... as in, that everyone should be grateful in life, love thy neighbour, etc. In fact, I cant stand some people. Its fair to be civil but I dont have to get along with others. Ill be honest, Im not real grateful for my lot in life. Call me pessimistic, but I consider myself a realist. One other thing... I dont agree with the belief that everyone should love themselves. I dont love myself, and I think thats okay. I give love to those around me instead.
