Anyone ever notice that a lot of the races in Trek get their roots from our ancient civilizations. For example, the proud warrior Klingons are like the Mongolian war tribes, the over militarized Romulan Empire aligns with our Roman Empire... The logical Vulcans are on par with the great philosophical and mathematical Greeks... Those all seem like solid connections, and please dont think of me as a bigot, but the ferengi seem to be an exaggeration of Jewish stereotypes. Andorians could be a representation of Germanic Vikings... Anyway just wanted to see if anyone shared any of these sentiments and wanted to gain some input from my fellow fans.
