Anyone needing a Bondsman be careful. Some Bail companies in the area are scamming folks. Here is the way they work it. If you dont have all the money they will finance the rest. They finance a lot more then you can payback and more or less tell you we will work it out. Example if your family member or friend is in jail. Their bond is 20,000 they charge 10% you need $2000.00 but you only have say 500.00. They say they will do it and let you make payments on the $1500.00 balance. This is the trap. You are so excited about getting them out you agree to make payments you cant afford or dont realize there is a time limit on when you pay them back.If you dont pay the exact amount on the exact day it is due they put your family member or friend back in jail and they get to keep what you have paid in. Its like when you buy a new car they say your payment is $300.00 a month but when you are ready to sign contract its closer to 400.00 but you are so exited you say we will work it out and sign.Same principal, but on car loans you have grace period shady Bondsman dont have to give one.Your family member or friend has the original bond placed back on them once they are surrendered and now you dont have $500.00. Neat little trick they make 500.00 with no risk. Do several a week its all legal nice profit uh?
