Anyone read the SCUM Manifesto? Vile piece of feminism (extra emphasis on the fact that this word has been put in between speech marks). Its detrimental to the cause of feminism, and rather unfortunately (perhaps, disturbingly so) isnt a satire in the way that A Modest Proposal was a satire. It perhaps makes some points about patriarchy, but its so extreme, that it gets lost amidst the silliness of misandry (which is as silly as misogyny). If anyones read Theodore Kaczynskis Industrial Society and Its Future (or The Unabomber Manifesto) it reads like that - no real irony (there isnt any) but just exaggerated rhetoric.
