Anyone remember the English Pub on Yucca Ave. between Lancaster Blvd. and Ave. I in the mid-late 80s? It was owned by a cool Brit named Kevin. Lots of import brews and a few pool tables, dart boards and MTV videos. Pretty cool for back in the day. My uncle and I would stop in for a beverage now and again after work. One afternoon Don Van Vliet (Captain Beefheart) came by and I chatted with him for an hour or so. Interesting guy and a conversation I still remember.
