Anyone that thinks college athletes should get paid please explain to me why you feel that way? First off the one ms that are good enough that they should get paid basically they already do... They go to college for free most of them place that would cost an astronomical amount to attend if you werent a scholarship athlete. Secondly playing college athletics is a privilege that is earned through hard work and dedication not a job. Thirdly the rules have been the way they are for a so long for a reason. The rules are rules like them or hate them but if you cant abide by them then be willing to suffer the consequences. However, the fact that Gurley may not be able to play for the rest of the year seems a little ludicrous considering Manziel only sat out one half for what sounds like the same offense and other players are committing worse crimes and completely getting away with them.
