It is 100% clear that they understood how important an adequate supply of hemp was to the national security of this nation. They had to declare a state of emergency so that US farmers could grow an emergency supply in 1942. In 1937, when hemp was made illegal through an incredible conspiracy, the US DOD should have gone into red alert & arrested everyone involved in that plot. Can you imagine the strength of a US whose military was being supplied by its farmers with the number one military crop on the planet? The things that we could have been manufacturing? Airplanes, tanks, vehicles, every rope the navy used, every uniform on every US service man, every rifle, hell we could have made the damn bullets of the stuff & gun powder. The prohibition of that plant was treason at the highest levels. & I will bet my life that the people in charge right now damn well know it & damn well do not want the people of this nation to know it.
