Anyone wish you could go back in time to Dubai, around 2002? You can. Its called Panama. Just spent over an hour with Erez Akerman who is president of the newly-launched Panama Diamond Exchange. This will become THE hub for Latin American gem and jewelry trading. Its Dubais Almas Tower all over again. (Or will be when its built.) The skyscrapers, the coastline, the construction cranes, the warm weather... Its just like Dubai. Havent seen any camels yet, though.
