Apparently, my event is unavailable to some. Im not sure why. But here are the details: Greetings! On Sunday, October 19th, there will be a Gothic Fitted Dress workshop at Mistress Briatizs (Kathryn Michels) house in Caer Galen. Adelaisa Bernois (Erin Hagmaier) will be teaching, and I will be assisting. We will fit the mock ups for a four panel dress, which can then be transformed into a fourteenth or fifteenth century self-supportive dress. Others I know have used this pattern for 15th c. Italian and Tudor kirtles. The class will be limited to 8 women. Youll partner up and fit each other, and then swap for the second fitting. We start at noon, ready to go - this will take the full afternoon. Please bring 2 yards of linen (light colored) for fitting. Also helpful, scissors, pins, and needle and thread. Please sign up soon!
