Appeal to Shias..........! Those of you who are defending the barbaric act shown by some of the members of Ashoora Procession in Rawalpindi by saying Shia’s were provoked because mosque people were chanting slogans in support of Killers of Hussain are doing nothing but giving license to LEJ/SSP people to slaughter Shia’s because they also feel provoked after hearing slogans by some of the Shia’s regarding personalities that are sacred to them. Killing can NEVER be justified and those who take law in their hands are criminals. Have the courage to accept that and stop blindly putting the blame on 3rd Force Black Water No matter what one says you have no right to take their lives so step up and openly denounce the people of the procession who were involved in Killing, Hate Speech should be stopped but killing the people who make Hate speech is not any solution but an act of terrorism. If you are being apologetic of those Shia’s who killed the people by justifying their crime in any way then you are no different from those Taliban apologists who bring their justifications when Taliban carry out a terrorist attack. If one commits a crime we must NOT defend them in any way just like our Sunni brothers denounce terrorists of Lashkar e Jhangvi whenever they carry out a terrorist attack on Shia’s. Appeal to Sunnis..........! Lives are lost, city is burnt, Rawalpindi has bled, but whatever is happening in Social media is keeping the fire and hatred alive and fresh. Graphic photos, videos, “eye-witness accounts of what actually happened” started a new round of hate-mongering and blame games. I myself have seen many posts where people are exaggerating the figures just to provoke people against the other group. There were some genuine pictures posted on Facebook but then the hatemonger’s are doing nothing but fanning the fire by uploading pictures of people from Syria and Burma and portraying them as victims of Rawalpindi just to help their hateful propaganda of keeping the hatred alive and fresh which is complicating the issue by misguiding a large part of our society that blindly listens to what is fed to them on Social Media. Whatever happened in Rawalpindi was indeed a sad incident which cannot be justified in any way but what is happening right now, it is just fueling the flames which might spread the violence all across Pakistan. This is appeal to Sunni brothers to stay cool and refrain from blindly attacking the Shia’s, please be careful with your selection of words and just remember that these very same Shia’s people dont lay a finger at you guys when they are attacked and they are under attack for quite a lot of time. Appeal to ALL PAKISTANIS..........! This post was just to promote unity and denounce sectarianism in any way that is why I have addressed both sides, so refrain from going back to the topic that who started the firing first, who threw stones first, who chanted slogans first, who is responsible, I have quite a lot of sources who told me what exactly happened so no point of telling me what happened since I already know that. If you cant say anything good then please dont say anything and stay silent because it would just make things further complicated. Let’s not forget Pakistanis are composed of Sunnis, Shia’s, Christians, Hindus, Sikhs, Parsis, Ahmadis and even those who dont associate themselves with any religious beliefs, They all are Pakistanis and all are part of our society and none of the entire community is threat or problem to Pakistan.
