Apple has set of 2 step verification. What a pain it is, but I guess thats a good thing. You start by requesting to initiate 2 step authentication. You then have to wait 3 days before completing the process. They make you change your password. Review all your data. Now once you change your password there are a whole bunch of things that need to be resigned into and sometimes even verified. Found out about Keychain security codes. Had to revisit all Keychain, iTunes, Facetime, iMessage, iCloud access. And I think there might have been more. Very tedious, but I actually learned a lot. Just make sure you have enough time and know your options and data needed to verify things. Good luck.
