Application POSITION: Data Acquisition Technician (full-time) General The Data Acquisition Technician at the National Institute on Money in State Politics is a full-time, in house, permanent staff member who must be able to consistently exercise flexibility, discretion and sound judgment while ensuring that the campaign finance data they acquire for publication on the Institutes website is accurate and complete. This position must develop a thorough understanding of the data acquisition process utilized by the Institute and the campaign finance disclosure and posting requirements in their assigned states in order to expedite and facilitate the overall data acquisition processes of the Institute. The position is a clerical/technical position and not a computer/IT position.
