Reports, through breakdown reports to superiors on cause of breakdown remedy done and spares used. Ensures good and correct use of tools. Ensures place of work is left clean after repair/maintenance tasks. Candidate profileOND/Trade Test 1 Mechanical Engineering, 2 – 3 years post graduate experience with a manufacturing company (cement manufacturing preferably).2. LUBRICATION TECHNICIAN Job profile Responsible for the lubrication of all the plant equipment. Detect possible anomalies observed on the equipment while lubrication is being carried out and report such to the Mechanical Inspector. Monitor the consumption of oils and greases for all equipment. Take lubricant samples from time to time as per Sampling Schedule for analysis purpose. Prepare and follow a lubrication register/sheet for all equipment. Responsible for house-keeping and safety of the workshop/premise. Write daily lubrication report. Responsible proper storage of Lubricants on site ensuring Health and Safety and Environment regulations. Responsible for ensuring proper operations of Auto-lube systems. Participate in the repairs and troubleshooting of faults on lubrication equipment. Maintain in good condition and keep inventory of all lubrication Tools. Responsible for safe storage and disposal of used/dirty rags and Lubricant containers. Update/Edit the Lubrication software. Contribute to the development and implementation of Health and Safety programmes in line with Lafarge Policy. LOADING BAY OPERATOR Job Profile To ensure that lorries are properly positioned underneath the loading conveyors at Mollers and Ventomatic packers loading bay, Wagon loading conveyor to be positioned properly. To confirm the vehicle registration number with the one on the loading advice ticket. To arrange the loading advice ticket in line with the time on the ticket. To ensure that lorries are positioned in line with the above arrangement. To ensure that loading vehicle wheel is properly wedged. To ensure that driver release the ignition key to loader before commencement of loading. To ensure that the loader keep the ignition key inside the LOTOTO box provided around the loading bay. To ensure that the loaders use their PPE (safety harness inclusive) during the loading operation. To check the loading pattern and count the number of bags when loading is completed to ascertain under/over-loading vehicle or wagon. To ensure security men check and sign the wagon loading note book. To sign loading advice ticket after loading is completed, keep technical copy and release other copies to the driver. To summarize the total cement packed on shift basis and for 24hrs operation. To liaise with Logistic department (dispatch) for reconciliation between packed and dispatched figures. To ensure good housekeeping around the loading bays. Respect the safety policies, rules, regulations and standard Work Instructions of the Company. Control start and stop of the extraction system to include the entire air slides blower, DCE, elevators, vibratory screen and compressors. Select a right silo for a desire product Monitor the elevator current not to exceed 70 amps for Ventomatic Packer To ensure availability of right product into the surge hopper for the packing machine operation. Control start and stop of the packer Ensure that the bag are arranged on the table beside the packer in readiness for the operation Control start and stop of feeder for effective packer operation Insert bag into spout for prompt filling. To ensure that the bags are filled to the required 50kg. Control start and stop of the loading conveyors to include line 1 and line 2 distribution belts and the auxiliaries To ensure that the packed 50kg bags are distributed to the loading conveyors through distributing conveyors. Ensure that all work instructions and procedure govern the milling operation are adhered to Ensure that the surroundings are kept clean always. Inspect the equipment used before and after the operation in order to detect possible mechanical problems. MOBILE PLANT OPERATOR Job Profile Proficiently operate all of our core equipment, which includes the following equipment: Backhoes, bobcat, bulldozers, excavators, front-end loaders, and forklift trucks to level, excavate, move and load clinker, gypsum, limestone and other material. Perform job responsibilities safely in a busy sometimes, stressful environment, operating and working varied under-footing and weather conditions around trucks and personnel. Comply with the operations and maintenance guide for all of the above mentioned equipment. Perform tasks that have to do with landfill operations as assigned or directed by the mobile plant team leader. Operate equipment productively for hours per day, year-round in all types of local weather and ground conditions (i.e. the work conditions for mobile plant operators can be hot, muddy, dusty and noisy) Service the equipment by cleaning and re-fuelling it at appropriate time Carry out pre-start checks on the machine before starting to include the following:a. STORE CLERKJob Profile Ensure all safety rules and regulations are obeyed by the contractors and suppliers. Issuing of stock items to users through authorised order on Stores tickets/work order Receiving of stock returns/ticket from users into the warehouse(s). Stacking of items received from Goods Receiving section into appropriate stocks locations in the warehouse(s). Preparing of daily stocks reports for Fuels and Cement bags etc. for Management Information. Re-arrangement of stocks and updating of location file Keeping of record, issues and returns of Stores Transactions. Ascertaining of on hand balances of stocks for ordering purposes. Actively participate at periodic stock taking schedules and working with cycle counters on a continuous basis. Posting of AGO and PMS consumptions by all contractors, generator plants and company mobile plants.
