Loading the dishwasher this morning I say to Francel Trotter Bellinger Why dont you lick the chocolate syrup off your spoon before it vulcanizes over night? Thats what happens when you go upstairs to watch TV and eat an ice cream sundae. She responds with the usual Hmmph and I say that reminds me of Milton the Monster. She gives me a puzzled look and asks, What? It was a Saturday morning cartoon show back in the 60s I reply. She says, Never heard of it. What made you think of that? When I said you should Lick the spoon. Huh? When I said, lick the spoon it reminded me of the opening of the old Milton The Monster Cartoon, show, and I recited the lyrics for probably the first time in more than forty years up to the point when the Count asks, When the stirrings done, may I lick the spoon? Yeah. Weird. And yet it was right there to be accessed from my Strange Shit memory file. So for Francel, here is what I was babbling about earlier today. Whoa, it is even stranger than I remember...
