April 06, 1989-January 21st, 1999 To my precious little boy....Through your living, I have been taught so much. Throughout those precious 9 years of life, you have taught me more in those few short years, than what i could ever have learned in an entire Lifetime....Your Strength was displayed as a true Warrior, going off to battle. Your courage so strong---never displaying a glint of despair or hopelessness, even through the worst days of your illnesses. When i was down, you always helped make me smile and feel like maybe there was a bit of hope left...Reminiscing over the days gone by, since your New Journey has begun----has left me with a feeling of Pride and Joy because my precious little Warrior is now my most perfect, precious Guardian Angel...And now at times when i feel so overwhelmed with tears of sadness, i stop and realize that you are right here beside me, enveloping me with your soft downy wings, giving me the strength to move forward...Not without you, but with you....I have had the icing of life....Anything else is just cake.....You were the most brilliant star on earth and now you are the most brilliant star in the Universe. Since you have passed, my Journey has led me into another direction of life....Your life has pointed me into the direction of continuing to help others with very special needs.....They say that in life there is a reason for everything....I truly believe this, because a piece of you is always with me guiding me throughout this new Journey in my life with three more young boys with special needs that we have adopted and decided to share our love with....I shall miss loving you, I shall Miss the comfort of your embrace,I shall miss the loneliness of waiting for your calls that never came, i shall miss the Joy of our coming and the pain of your going, and after a time, I shall miss ----missing you.....Loving you Always Mommy
