April 22, 2014 An experiment of sorts: HYPOTHESIS: chords and dischords (sic) reflect your relationships with others. PROCEDURES: 1. (A) You pick a note anywhere on the standard chromatic scale that best and seriously represents you; (restriction to a certain octave is not required) (B) dont tell anyone else which note you picked - ever if possible. 2. Practice recalling it so that, on command, you can hum/sing/la it 3. Really practice: download an app or borrow an electronic tuner if you have to (dont trust your untuned piano or guitar or harpsichord:) 4. The next time you are with a friend or group of friends or family whom you know to have executed steps 1-3, hum your note aloud 5. Determine whether or not there is (A) a harmonious chord or (B) a discordant dischord 6.
