Are You Growing In Christ, Or In The World? Lets see... 1 Peter 2:1-3, Peter says, as we are trusting in Christ, So get rid of all evil behavior. Be done with all deceit, hypocrisy, jealousy, and all unkind speech. Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment, now that you have had a taste of the Lords kindness..... Well, tell me how you are growing into your full experience of salvation? Tell me... I want to know what, or who, you are using?..... The reason I am so upfront, with knowing your resource in you experiencing your salvation, is because, I DONT SEE TO MANY, IF ANY, WHO ARE TRULY GROWING CLOSER TO CHRIST JESUS, AS THEY ARE EXPERIENCING THEIR SALVATION!!! And why can I say this? Because, in the Nation that we are living in, the vast majority of people, even church goers, whos lifestyles are being defined by the first part of this passage of Scripture - evil behavior, deceit, hypocricy, jealousy, and the most popular, unkind speech, thats why!...... Can I be real here? Can I bring your lifestyle to the place where the rubber is supposed to meet the road?.... If you are one of the many, who have, and are, putting the growing part of your salvation, in the hands of a man who you listen to each Sunday, either in person or on TV, then theres a good chance that you are growing away from your salvation experience, and back into your love for this world!! Do you not see what Im talking about? Please tell me that you are seeing a bigger movement of church goers lifestyles moving back into the world, and away from Christ Jesus.... And, one of the biggest reasons that I can say this, is because, I DONT HEAR ANYONE SPEAKING THE NAME OF JESUS, AWAY FROM THE CHURCH BUILDING!!!.. Even pastors seem ashamed to want to bother people with speaking the name of Jesus, anymore..... Can I give you an important piece of advice? A piece of advice that might help you get back to following that narrow road that leads to heaven, called Jesus? Mmmm, are you ready? The last part of this passage of Scripture, it urges us to crave this spiritual milk. Can I tell you that the spiritual milk that God is speaking of, is spiritual milk that comes directly from Him, and not from any part of this world!... So what that means, is, He has given us two Holy things to help us grow and experience our salvation. He has given us the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Bible.... Without these two resources, our lifestyles will sooner or later fall back into the world - GUARANTEED!........ My advice to you my friend: Quit growing back into the world, and start using Gods resources, so that Jesus Christ can become your Lord, again!! Well?
