Are we asking the right questions? “It is not the answers given but the questions asked that find the right solutions”. All the answers so far to reduce our national debt is to tax our people. No one mentions the decline in national income when foreign interests “take over” our wealth creating assets, borrow off shore that adds to our national debt, and the lack of transparency to siphon profits off shore before tax. Australians do not mind making a contribution to our future. We have done this for 226 years, but we do object to being locked out of control of assets that were built in the national interest. We do not want to be serfs and tenants in our own country. Secure food, water, energy and transport supported by manufacturing that we control are vital to our future. We need to find our own answers not those given by other countries.
