Are we raised into it, trained? It is a primarily subconscious - TopicsExpress

Are we raised into it, trained? It is a primarily subconscious exclusion of alien (foreign, for the ignorant) influence. Racism Bigotry BELIEF! Is it genetic though? Can we resolve the walls and repellants between us? The defensiveness that is in synchrony with a measure of familiarity. Often, if not always in reaction to fear of the unknown. A talk to the mirror... I catch myself being harsh or even offensive often online. Yet, I am, with exceptions noted, very patient in real life interactions... Is it fear if the unknown? No, because, in fact I lose patience with those I am close to more easily than strangers. I lose patients when I perceive, yes judge, fallacy both, live and online. If I have been faced with the same fallacy repeatedly, It becomes more difficult to endure. So for me it is a matter of distaste, even loathing of well known ignorance. As for the difference, online vs live online, I have only that 6th sense to work with. Not one of the 5 material senses provide even a mustard seed of support in translating your text, the only sensory medium of input, into a cogent understanding of the full sense of your communicated sensory output. Communication has many planes and txt is arguably unnatural and conveys only words no emotion. So I feel like I am not talking to a human. When I have the presence of mind that I am talking to a human, I am at loss no less. So when I meet, in person, one who I am familiar with only by text; I am best to forget what I think I am familiar with and abandon all expectations. YOU should know that this means fresh start promises for those to whom I have never spoken to face to face... At least from this side of your wall. YES, with much work, If some arbitrarily sized critical mass of participants were so inclined... Perhaps. But it may well be an evolutionary affect in genes. Natural selection causes a genetic, biological, psychological propensity for hatred? Hmmm.... Even so... If mind > matter, then pay little mind to matter. Ok rambling OFF.
