Are we truly walking in the Spirit? Galatians 5:14-18 (NKJV) 14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." 15 But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another! 16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. To walk in the Spirit means to walk in love. If our basis for everything begins with love we will be less critical and have the ability to bring people up instead of tearing them down. The true test of love begins in our homes with those who are closest to us. How is that going? Are we quick tempered or patient? Are we selfless or selfish? Being led by the Spirit is multifaceted but the foundation is love. As we love more we have the ability to hear what the Spirit is saying. Jesus said I give you a NEW commandment: Love one another as I have loved you
