Are you ever too old to exercise? I’ve been thinking about this for a while, since I got a message from a lady approaching a major birthday milestone (and no, not 40!) asking if she was too old to train with me and the answer is a definite no! You are never too old. Plus, I’ve seen a couple of clips on FB in the last 24 hours which truly shows that age is no barrier to achieving results. The body is an amazing thing and responds best when we use it. So no matter how old you are – your body will thank you for keeping it moving. You’ll become more agile, have more energy, probably sleep better and resistance training is proven to assist bone density. There really is no down side to starting exercise at any age! I have clients of all ages from all walks of life . . . it’s all about getting the best out of the individual.
