Are you free this Friday from 3pm? Then I think we could radically change how you think about design, tell you some inspiring stories, and share a glass or two of wine with you. Every year some remarkable individuals graduate from our Masters course in Design For Services every year. They go on to do some ground breaking things around the world. And this year will be no different. Suthasina’s has been helping to design a social enterprise in Thailand. Laura has been developing tools for designing for older people based on her practice and research in South Africa. Keerthana has worked with child protection and domestic violence professionals in using design to improve the way they work. Moyra draws on twenty years experience as a health professional to develop a design led approach to wellness. And thats just the start of it! These and our other students will show you how design can help to address some of the key challenges of our time. You will also be able to network with some of the key people linking design to a social agenda in Scotland. Please come along. Oh, and did I say theres canapés too? Whats not to like?
